There are a number of things that most people consider when they look at buying a baby stroller. Safety, colors and options are all important things to be considered, but what about the basic type of baby stroller that you’re going to buy? Let’s take a look at the different types available and see what you should consider before buying.

The first type of stroller is the standard stroller. This is the one that everybody is familiar with – four wheel, two handles, one seat. Nothing fancy or spectacular, but it will safely transport your baby pretty much anywhere you want to go.

Similar to this, at least as far as looks go, but very different in function is the travel system stroller. These strollers come with at least three separate parts: seat, car seat base and stroller base. The seat, the actual part where you put your baby, is removable, and can move from car seat to the stroller base without having to take your baby out. This is very popular for taking the baby around while he/she sleeps and not waking the baby.

Another type of stroller is the Schwinn Free Wheeler 2 Double Swivel Wheel Jogging Stroller. This is designed for a specific purpose and that is to allow you to jog or run as you push the baby stroller. Regular strollers are not designed for this and usually do not function well at higher speeds.
