Whey Protein and Plyometrics

Plyometric training is one of the best ways to increase your vertical jump.
With that being said, plyometrics are very hard on the body and nervous system.
This means that you need lots of rest and nutrition to recover from plyometric workouts.
One of the best ways to recover from training is to take whey protein.
Whey protein is great because it rebuilds muscle and it is also easily absorbed by the body.
Try to take it right before or right after your plyometric training sessions.
It is also important to remember that whey protein (like any other protein) needs lots of water to digest.
Always drink lots of water while training and taking protein supplements.
