content management systems?

August 31, 2009 - 12:11 am 4 Comments

Im looking for an open source content management system to use for my website. It would be really helpful if it was database driven?

Anyone have any good suggestions?

Like someone said before: Drupal is the best, but Joomla! is much easier to work with.

WordPress is OK, but sites made with it usually look pretty boring, IMNSHO.

Any of the three are very suitable for use. Drupal, Wordpress, or Joomla.
It’s the understanding of how the sites work and how coding, html, php, etc, can be manipulated that would enable any of these systems to show your design exactly the same in each system.

The difference I see is in the support, updates, community, and plugins which are created for each CMS. Check into each and try one out. They’re all very similar imo.
