Boston Terrier Health Issues

As a whole, they are very healthy kind of dog breeds, yet Boston Terriers are vulnerable to very specific health issues most of which are related to their beyond extending eyes and short muzzles. The most common health issues with Boston Terriers include: juvenile cataracts, cherry eye, luxating patellas and deafness. If you own a Boston terrier, you probably also know that one of the health issues common to this breed has something to do with the skin. Health issues also arise from a Boston Terrier’s reaction to extreme heat or cold- due to the short muzzle the breed cannot regulate internal temperature causing adverse reactions.
