Joomla is the one im currently using i like the fact that there’s a whole community behind it that all submit themes, plugins and extensions etc. but addons can be a bit pricey for a web developer anyone else have any other good WCM’s?

You have Drupal, wordpress (for blogs). Joomla has alot of free addons on their website just go to the extension section. And also it depends on what type of addon you are looking for.

I’m currently using WordPress, and it’s working really well. Themes can be a little pricey for the better ones (mine was $80), but everything else is free, and depending on what you’re building, the built-in ones might work fine. My only problem is organizing uploaded images, as they all get thrown into one folder, but everything else is very intuitive – the WYSIWYG is pretty good, and it’s fully widgetized – and open to as much or as little modding as you want – php scripts for templates, widgets, and plugins are easily accessible.

you just have to find one that you like. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_content_management_systems has a good list of all the ones that are out there.
